About Us

I’m married to Heidi, and have three daughters and a son.

I have lived in the Southend area all my life, and have been living in Great Wakering since 2013.

I worked for 32 years in the IT industry within many diverse environments and sectors and also successfully run and managed my own IT Support Service business. But, after 32 years, IT was no longer a fulfilling career and I felt I had gone as far as I could. 2019 was time for a change!

Why a driving instructor? I have always enjoyed teaching people, it gives me great satisfaction to help and see others achieve their goals. I completed my training as a Grade A (44/51) Driving Instructor.

I am committed to the voluntary Continuing Professional Development (CPD) scheme, and have agreed to abide by the ADI Code of Practice (ADI CoP).

Students have a diverse range of abilities, and I currently hold a “NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism”

During my spare time, I am an avid DIYer and keep fit by attending gym classes and training with a personal trainer at PureGym in Fossetts Way. Heidi and I enjoy Ballroom and Latin dancing at Southend Dance Centre and love to go on cruise ship holidays!
